At Solarday, every process in the supply chain is taken care of down to the last details to ensure quality and efficiency in the products and services we offer our customers.
Today we want to talk to you about our packaging.
This process is crucial for us to guarantee the safety of the panels during transport and delivery.
1. Our packaging: cardboard base
Double cardboard cover, with strips of plywood board;
The modules are grouped by strapped and filmed towers;
KD wooden pallet with 4 entrances and 2 wooden floors, specific for proper handling.
2. How we pack
External shrink wrapping of the pallets; Protective corners in alternate modules;
Protection and separation of the edges with cardboard corners in microchannel;
The modules are strapped under the cardboard and cross-shaped doubly;
Positioning modules horizontally supported on their longest side.
The first and last modules have the glass side facing the inside of the box.
3. Safe packaging
Horizontal impact tests, random vibration, rotational fall and dynamic compression;
Packaging approved by our logistic department has been approved and testested along EU installations (independent packaging institute);
Cardboard savings. no unnecessary material is used;
Elimination of breaks due to module interaction; Easy handling of the mounted pallet;
Easy and fast deconsolidation by pallet;
Double outer strap.
4. tracebility and stock control
To improve transport and delivery efficiency and guarantee the quality of internal warehouse processes, we have arranged:
- packaging with an external list with the serial number (PALLET / TOP BOX);
- Easy reading at the warehouse with PDA terminal.
